Interactive Blocks

Typealot Documents can contain interactive blocks — living pieces of a document you fill in and update. Insert them from the slash menu (type / and look under Interactive) or with the toolbar buttons Insert task and Insert dropdown.

Tasks

A Task block is a checkbox item with structure:

• a checkbox and the task text
• an assignee field (type @who)
• a due date picker
• a Details… note for extra free-text

Tasks that are past their due date and still unchecked are highlighted so they stand out.

Dropdowns

A Dropdown block is a labelled select field:

• a label
• a select control
• an Edit options… button that opens a box where you type one option per line

If you remove an option that was already selected somewhere, typealot keeps showing it (marked removed) so nothing silently changes.
