The menu bar

On a Mac, typealot's menus appear in the native menu bar at the top of the screen. If you'd rather have them inside the window, turn on Show in-window menu bar in Options.

Keyboard shortcuts

Everywhere the manual shows Ctrl, use Cmd on macOS — for example Cmd+S to save, Cmd+O to open a file, and Cmd+F to find. See Keyboard Shortcuts for the full list.

Window controls

typealot uses the standard macOS traffic-light buttons in the top-left corner to close, minimize, and zoom the window.
