Viewing Office Files

typealot can preview Microsoft Office documents without any other software. Office files open read-only — a banner at the top reads This document is read-only. To edit the content, convert it to Markdown first.

Word (.docx)

Word documents render with their formatting and embedded images.

Excel (.xlsx, .xls)

Spreadsheets render as tables. If a workbook has more than one sheet, a sheet switcher lets you jump between sheets.

PowerPoint (.pptx)

Slides render as a best-effort preview — the banner notes Read-only preview — best effort; formatting may differ from PowerPoint.
