The Formatting Toolbar

The Markdown editor's toolbar gives you one-click formatting. From left to right:

• Heading — choose a heading level (H1–H5).
• List — Bulleted, Numbered, or Checklist.
• Quote — a block quote.
• Code block — a fenced code block.
• Bold (Ctrl+B)
• Italic (Ctrl+I)
• Strikethrough
• Link — insert or edit a link (pre-filled with any selected text).
• Table — insert a table.
• Image — insert an image from a URL or a local file.
• Paragraph — turn the current block back into a plain paragraph.
• Clear formatting — strip formatting from the selection.
